We know you are smart enough to have your heating and cooling systems checked every year. But do you have your plumbing checked? An annual plumbing inspection can identify small problems before they become large problems, and can save you money and a lot of mess and inconvenience. You don’t want that small leak to become a flood. You don’t want to find out too late that your battery for your back-up sump pump is dead.
Here is what we do during a whole house plumbing inspection:
- Examine fixtures, supply lines and drains for water flow problems
- Inspect bathroom sinks, showers, and toilets to make sure they’re working correctly
- Inspect your hot water heater
- Check water pressure and pipe connections
- Test emergency shut-off valves
- Apply drain maintainer to all drains
- Inspect washing machine hoses for leaks, splits and loose connections
- Check sump pumps and battery back-ups to make sure they are working properly
- Inspect whole-house water filtration systems
